HR tracking in weight lifting

Have been using my new charge 6 for about a week replacing my charge 5 which no longer liked swimming. I have noticed during my gym routines (weight lifting, treadmill) my hr during weight lifting now seldom reaches 80 bpm. I have been weightlifting for many years and my typical

HR for this is between 110 and 120 bpm on my Fitbit devices.

What changed (I don't believe it was my routine)

Same issue - used Fitbit devices years and other HR monitors to test - the charge 6 is highly inaccurate in most activities. Very disappointing.
