Hello all,
I bought a Charge 6 to monitor my heart rate. I want notifications (such as on wrist vibration) when my heart rate goes higher than a threshold regardless of active or not.
So far I couldn't do it. Charge 6 only sends a notification when I'm "inactive" for at least 10 minutes.
Can my charge 6 vibrate whenever my heart rate goes higher than a threshold? If not is there any Fitbit device which can do that?
Thank you very much.

@snn07 certainly no Fitbit device supports it. Pixel Watch maybe if there is any thirdparty app for WearOS (slim chance though).

Yes, it is possible.
In the Fitbit app on your phone, tap the icon at the top left of the Today screen, then select your device.
Tap on High & low heart. You can choose to set a custom rate, or choose the default based on age.
Toggle the High & Low rate notifications to On.

Thank you for your reply.
I believe this will work only if you are inactive for at least 10 minutes and the heart rate falls out of range as it clearly shows in your screenshot. I want notification regardless of whether I am active or not.
I did try this setup to confirm, The Charge 6 did not send any notification because it "thinks" I'm active when my heart rate went above the threshold.

@snn07 it isn't possible on Charge 6.

@Triletics Is there any Fitbit or Google device that has this functionality?

The Pixel watch works the same as any other Fitbit device regarding the heart rate notification - at least 10 minutes of inactivity in order to notify. This is because it's expected that one's heart rate will reach a higher range when one is active/working out. So, the at least 10 minutes of inactivity with one's heart rate above the set threshold is needed to avoid "false" notifications.

I understand why the "10 minutes" wait makes sense in some scenarios. But I think the "immediate notification over threshold" is necessary for people who constantly need to monitor their heart rate. I have a relative who has to avoid high heart rates whenever possible, the 10-minute wait time is too late, and even 5 minutes is still too late. It's simple to avoid false positives; for example, if the device finds a heart rate over the threshold it will keep monitoring for 5 seconds to confirm, then send a notification, this will take only 5 seconds instead of 10 minutes.
Anyway, I returned the device, looking for another brand that offers "immediate notification".

@snn07 Did you find a product that offers immediate notification? I'm looking for one that does that too
