I searched how to turn notifications off, but I don't have them turned on in the first place. How do I stop getting texts & news alerts when I've had them turned off since day one? All I want is steps & mileage counts, not another social media device. I'm 67. I have a phone for texting & news.
Thanks in advance.

Hello @utsavjain05
Just want to confirm that you followed the instructions in the link from my previous reply and turned off the notifications for text, calls, & apps. Yet, you're still getting notifications?

Don't worry, they'll come back on. I've turned mine off weekly! In fact, once, I turned them off and then started getting notifications again like 7 minutes later!

They moved the and split notifications settings. So the notifications settings on your name icon on the app has limited options. You have to go to your fitbit device icon on the app and click that. There you would be lead to detailed notification options such as calls, messages etc. . I noticed after updates, the default setting on fitbit devices is on "mirror my phone". There's no way to change this directly on the device.
