Logged sessions not showing up in Cardio Load

Hi all - 

I've now done two "spinning" sessions (indoor bike), for 20 to 30 minutes, that do not show up at all in my cardio load. It's like they never happened, even though my heart rate was up for those periods. Makes no sense to me. But if I go for a walk, that shows up immediately. Something is off.

I've seen several users report that they don't get Cardio "credit" for spin sessions or bike rides.

I saw a Moderator posted on 07 Jan 2025 in another thread that an update will be rolling out soon (this week?) that includes fixes for Cardio Load and Target Cardio Load general issues.

The updates tend to roll out in waves. So keep checking your app store and install the update when it's available to you.

It's one of the maddening elements of the app.  Multiple heavy Zwift sessions and little to no cardio load, despite the heart rate zones actually recording the effort. I've tried using ' spinning ' and 'cycling' and inputting the virtual distances etc. manually. Nothing.   Really need this updated.

Have you updated your Fitbit app to version 4.34 yet? One of the Moderators said that this update includes fixes to Cardio Load & Cardio Target Load general issues.

If you're still seeing problems with your cardio load/target load after a few days, especially with bike rides & spinning, please post on this thread (<-- click link) and tag DavidFitbit, the Moderator, in your responses. He can forward your info to the engineering team and let them know what issues have not been resolved by the update.

Hi @RiekoC , thanks for the info, I can confirm that the app is version 4.34.1 and there's been no corrections to the issues. 2 hours high intensity on Zwift yesterday, zero cardio load. I'll follow the link and see if I can get it resolved.

I downloaded the update and my fitbit STILL gives me zero cardio load on hard indoor biking sessions.  What to do?  Frustrating! 😞
