Make Google Wallet available to iPhone users

After several calls back-and-forth with my bank and Fitbit/Google due to inability to set up Google Wallet on my new Charge 6, I was told that an Android phone is required.  Given the large number of people who use iPhones, this information should be made clear in all marketing information about the device, so people can make informed purchase decisions.  Better yet, I should be able to set up Google Wallet on my Charge 6 using my iPhone.

Hello @seekinganswers and welcome to the Community.  I flagged your post to get a moderator to comment.  That completely contradicts everything that is written about Google Wallet for Fitbit.

I don't use Google Wallet for Fitbit.  I'm a long time Fitbit user, but my bank didn't participate in Fitbit Pay.  It participates in Google Wallet for Fitbit.  But I always have my phone, I hate entering PIN numbers, and my phone always recognizes my face.

Where are you located? Not every country is supported in Google Wallet

I just had a simular issue. I got a new cc from cap one and could not add it to my watch from my iphone as the fitbit app would not send the data info out and open the cap one app for the final verification. Lucky for me, I had an Android device that I could use. I used a fire tablet(I have the play store already sideloaded). So I had to install the cap one app on my tablet(I already had the fitbit app installed), and then I had to unpair my sense 2 from the IOS and get it paired to my fire tablet. Then, when I connected to Google Wallet through the Fitbit app on my tablet, I could verify and authorize Google Pay in the cap one app.

Now I have two other bank/credit cards added with no issue.

For me, this is on Apple, and Fitbit is not allowing/having their app open another app.    So I agree that this is frustrating, but then again, I think they think the number of people using a Fitbit Google wallet with an iPhone is low, and there is no need to fix it.

It sounds like you had exactly the same problem I did. If it isn’t worth it for them to work with iPhone, that’s fine, but I think that should be made clear in their materials. Even in the users’s guide for the Fitbit, it does not indicate that it works only with android devices. And it seems to me there probably are a lot of people who use Fitbits with iPhones, but I could be wrong about that.
