It just turned off - black screen at some point during the evening last night. I noticed it in the middle of exercise. Yes while being charged I've tried the 3x button push - 25 separate times. To no avail. It's 8 months old and under the 1 year warranty. How do I get a replacement (given that I want one)?

Sorry to see that your Charge 6 stopped working.
Since you've already tried the recommended troubleshooting, the next step would be to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get to the page with the contact options.
Personally, I've had better response when I call over chat.
Although it shouldn't have to be this way, you will need to be your own advocate and followup with Support until you get resolution or confirmation for your replacement.
