Hello !
For a few days now, my fit bit has stopped counting the kilometers that I walk, both on my device and my phone. I’ve reset my fit bit, and reset the gps, but nothing seems to work! I’ve attached a photo to show what’s happening.

Best AnswerHello @elliecase
There is a known issue with some Fitbit devices not tracking distance. The Fitbit team is aware of the issue and I believe they are working on a fix.
One user doing troubleshooting discovered that tracking worked again when they disabled automatic stride length and manually entered a stride length in the Fitbit app. If you want to try this workaround, this page has the instructions: how to manually set stride length in the Fitbit app (<-- click link)
That said, some users report that the workaround did not work for them. If you try it, please let us know if it worked for you.

Best AnswerHey @Gabs220 - that seems to be a weird bug that I personally haven't encountered. My first troubleshooting step would be to Open the Fitbit app, go to the Today tab, tap your profile picture, then Fitbit settings. In the App Settings section, tap Date, time & units, then Units of Measurement. Select the unit you want to change and choose a new one. Then try turning it back to it's normal settings and hopefully it should be updated.
Keep us posted!

Hello @Gabs220 and welcome to the Community. Many users are seeing the same thing. Fitbit is aware.
This bug might be coming from the automatic stride length setting. Fitbit uses known equations to estimate stride length. I'm going to play around with my settings see if I can reproduce it -- suggesting it is the cause. If i'm right, I will update this post as soon as I find or modify the equations (they use inches) to height in cm.

@Gabs220 I plated around with my stride length settings on two different Fitbits and can't reproduce your issue. My husband's distance works normally, too.
One user found a workaround by turning off the automatic stride length. There are two ways to get your setting. I think this one is one step shorter:
