New Fitbit Charge 6 and Windows

ANSWERED

I now know windows isnt supported and after reading the forums, Google took the dashboard away. My problem is I do not use a smart phone. So this new watch is dead. I do run windows 11 and I use WSA (Windows subsystem for Andriod). I have gotten some Amazon apps to run on windows.

My question is, has anyone here tried to get the fitbit app to run under WSA? I tried and it says I need to update my google play store. Then I found and installed google play and still same error.

Hello @NewInNY and welcome to the Community.  I'm certainly not an expert on this subject, but I have this insight for you.  There used to be a Fitbit app for Windows 10 that was available for PCs and Windows phones.  Fitbit deactivated the Windows 10 app almost two years ago.  This annoyed many users who didn't own smartphones.  If anyone ever got your workaround to work, the Fitbit world would have learned about it.

You need a compatible smartphone or tablet to use your Charge 6.
