Hello,
When I look on the Fitbit app for my Heath metrics, it's saying "5 of 5 metrics available" (BR, SpO2, RHR, HRV, Skin temp variation).
Though, when I clic on "Health metric" then "Heart rate variability" it says "No Data". It makes 5 days I have the charge 6 but I have never been able to see this data.
I sleep more than 7 hours every time. Last time, I emptied the cache, restarted my tracker, redownloaded the app and re logged.
How come I'm still not able to see this metric? This is very annoying...
Thanks
Val

I just learned that by b using the “Begin Sleep Now” option in the app I may be prohibiting my Health Metrics from being recorded. Strange, but going to try sleeping without using the app feature.

Hi, @ValVa Welcome to the community.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the Heart Rate Variability tracked by your Charge 6.
I would recommend you to do a restart in the device and then use your Fitbit and check if the HRV appears. If the situation continues, send me a picture on how this Health Metric appears.

I have exactly the same issue, no HRV data for 3 days now. Have tried everything, still no data despite showing 5/5 health metrics. Was fine up until 3

same issue. Resting Heart Rate shows up, but no other Health Metrics. Been wearing all day every day for 7 days. Is this an international issue? I live in Ireland.

Hi Cris I'm still not getting HRV data and also breathing rate data during sleep is not always provided. How do I fix this?

Hi there guys, @KaratC and @Ryan0001! Welcome to the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation with the HRV in your Charge 6.
Can you try restarting the Charge 6, please? And also, make sure to double check you're wearing the Fitbit correctly.
Let me know how it goes once you've followed these steps, guys!

Here in Australia, have not had any HRV data since I've owned the charge 6. Have been back and forth with support for months, got a replacement device and still no difference. Not sure if it's to do with my skin or an issue with the device.

Hi Cris,
Despite having a premium subscription, my Fitbit Charge 6 won't show me any health metrics, heart rate or oxygen level, health info, or sleep tracking. I re-started the divide several times, and it did not work.

Hello, I also have the same issues. Health matrix isn’t providing all information, Readiness score isn’t showing up, Sleep score is not showing up, as well as stress management scores. Last working date was Jan 31st. Since this new update these has not worked. Restarted and wearing device correctly.

This does absolutely nothing... There is a major issue with the app or the watch. I have had the same issue with two watches now. This appears to be a known issue for several years now. The company is selling a lemon product, or false advertising. I am not sure which yet. Do not purchase anything from Fitbit!

Yep mine doesn’t work all the time either, which then affects the readiness score. It’s a premium thing that we are paying and it’s unavailable. The support I had was update the app and my watch.
we shouldn’t have to restart our watches constantly to fix these issues. I still don’t get all notifications on my watch from phone. Literally have to have the app open and be next to my phone for my watch to buzz. My blaze I could be 3floors away in house and it would connect

Hi Chrissy1987, I know it’s crazy how inconsistent it is. This is just a hypothesis on my part, I think for me it’s been user error ( which is me ). I have been paying attention to the days I do get a sleep score, because I constantly slept for 3 consecutive hours, which in turn allows for sleep stages; once you get sleep stages then, Health Matrix number start appearing because they also rely on that 3 hours sleep, as does Stress Management score, and ironically the Readiness Score also gives you a score once you have sleep stages.
My conclusion thus far is that I receive a Sleep score each night I slept a measurable 3 hours, sleeps stages appear, Readiness score appears, as does Stress Management Number, and all Heath number’s appear that rely on that 3 hours. Sp o2 blood oxygen does not rely on 3 hours sleep, nor does your resting heart rate, nor body temperature. This has been my observation, leading to my theory, and so far nights that I don’t have 3 hours measurable sleep, I open the app to check if there is a 3 hour span of time logged. So far, I have been correct. Just wanted to share my experience and see if it seems plausible to anyone else.

This worked. Two nights in and I’m starting to see numbers. Need a third night to get the rest of the data, and 14 days this month for trending. At least moving in the right direction.

That’s great news!! Keep us posted on the progress!! “ I’ve also followed your lead and not started sleep with the sleep now “ in the app. I’ve got 2 nights also logged. Makes sense, it logs naps during the day; why not just let your vital signs show sleep?!! Thanks Ryan001!!

I had a Charge 4 for several years before I got a Charge 6 three weeks ago. I rarely got HRV or Breathing Rate Health Metrics on my Charge 4, and I’m not getting them on my Charge 6. I received one report of Sleep Stages and a Sleep Score on my Charge 4 on January 21, 2024, the only such report I had gotten in about two years. So far I have received no Sleep Stages or Sleep Scores data from my Charge 6. I have tried all of Fitbit’s suggestions about how to wear my trackers while sleeping in order to get the missing data, and I have reset and updated my trackers numerous times. What gives? Is it possible that some Fitbit users, like me, just can’t sleep well enough for their trackers to get all the data it says it will report. I do have afib. Could that be the problem? It’s obvious that I am not the only user who has these problems. Surely Google must know something more about why they cannot always be corrected by following its suggested advice. One additional note: The sleep data that I do get almost always shows three hours of uninterrupted sleep, which I understand is required to get the data I’m missing.

Good Morning Bmoore090142
Let me ask a question. Do you use the sleep now function “ in the app? before bedtime?
IF so, may I make a suggestion to see if this helps?
1. Tonight before bed; on your Fitbit scroll up, touch “sleep mode” ON. This tells your Fitbit you are ready for sleep, also turn’s off notifications, it will dim your clock face.
2. In the morning, when you wake up, tap your Fitbit watch face to wake it up, scroll up and “ tap Sleep Mode off “. Your screen will brighten up, you’ll also start receiving all notifications. “This step is important because you must turn sleep mode off manually each morning from your Fitbit.”
3. Open your app, and now you can “sync your Fitbit to the app on your phone”.
This should allow, a sleep score, Health Matrix Score’s, Stress Management Score, also your Readiness Score to show up.
“ Note: I’ve noticed it take’s just a little longer for the Spo2 number, and Readiness score to show up; maybe 15 minutes. Should this happen, after about 15 minutes, sync your Fitbit to the app again. Your number should appear. I’ve had to do this step several times. Just keep syncing and your numbers will show up.
For me, this routine has been working like a charm since Feb, 17th.
Give this a try, see if this helps. Let us know.
