No HRV Data on Health Metrics using Charge 6

ANSWERED

Hello,

When I look on the Fitbit app for my Heath metrics, it's saying "5 of 5 metrics available" (BR, SpO2, RHR, HRV, Skin temp variation).

Though, when I clic on "Health metric" then "Heart rate variability" it says "No Data". It makes 5 days I have the charge 6 but I have never been able to see this data.

I sleep more than 7 hours every time. Last time, I emptied the cache, restarted my tracker, redownloaded the app and re logged.

How come I'm still not able to see this metric? This is very annoying...

Thanks

Val

Nothing has worked for me so far. I get no Readiness Score, no HRV, no
Breathing Rate, no Sleep Stages, and no Sleep Scores

I wish I knew what to do to help you. Do you get heart rate zone notifications throughout the day or during workouts? Do you receive your notices you’ve setup ? If any; like weather for today, email, text messages? I’m asking because I want to make sure that you do not have DND on; ( do not disturb ).
Did you try, just tapping the Sleep Mode on, before bedtime? Then sync first thing in the morning? Can you let me know; and we can go from there.

------

Just a key thought; I’ve just read the info in the health matrix for each, Heart Rate variability, skin temp, etc they all say they calculate the data over a 30 day period, obtaining a baseline.
You won’t get a Readiness Score without first getting a Sleep Score, or a Stress Management Score either. They seem to all work off the information from your sleep data.
1. Make sure your Fitbit is charged before bedtime.
2. Try, Tapping Sleep Mode on before going to bed tonight. Once you wake in the morning, remember to turn sleep mode off.
3. Sync your Fitbit to your phone when you wake up, not everything will appear at once immediately- keep syncing periodically for the next -15 to 30 minutes…

Have you tried the Sleep Mode on your Fitbit before bedtime, rather than using the sleep now in the app?
So do you get any health matrix data? Sleep Scores? Readiness Score, or Stress Management Score?

When I first got the Fitbit I never did that and got an HRV score every night. Then it suddenly stopped. I did turn sleep mode on once since then and the hrv was there the next day. But I forgot it the next night and it didn’t show again. if I have to manually go set sleep mode every night in order to see HRV, then, so be it. But why did I get HRV scores without doing that for the first week?

I do get stress management scores and sleep scores, daily. I don’t get readiness score but I am not a premium member and I read you need to be to see that.

Thank you for replying so quickly.

It’s my understanding you have 6 months premium free; then after that it’s a monthly or annual fee.  Is this within your timeframe?
Same with the sleep mode, I get it!!  I am sharing what works for me; I use to go into the Fitbit app each night and tell the app “ sleep now” it just didn’t work for me. I read through this thread to use the “ sleep mode “ each night, just remember to turn it off the next morning. It’s worked each & every single night for me without a hitch, everything has shown up for me; sleep scores, all stages, all 5 of the Health matrix, Readiness score, Stress Mgmt score.
The only thing I’ve notices is the readiness score takes longer to show up, I just keep syncing until it does: abt 30 minutes no longer.
I just went a read about the premium subscription- compared to free app; I’ll include the info.
Try Sleep Mode; see what happens. ?

I do know that if I take a nap, it will log sleep all on its own, without me telling Fitbit or the app anything.?

 Hope this helps!!

Im so sorry!! I’ve no idea what could be preventing you from your scores.
One last question: Are you syncing to your android or IPhone, or a computer?

Do you have a paid subscription for premium- Readiness Score & Stress Management?

Sync off iPhone.
And yes had a 3month trial premium when had my blaze. Paid for one month and now have the 6month trial for buying charge 6
No way I will be paying premium if all my problems don’t get sorted.
Synicing, not all readings. Notifications on the watch. Can’t amend workouts in the app or change the initial ones on the watch.
No stair count which wasn’t highlighted doesn’t have with charge 6 compared to most do

Yeah, I can’t edit workouts. & I knew stair steps weren’t a thing with the charge 6.
With notifications, within your iPhone make sure you ( on your iPhone ) allow all the apps you’d like to be notified from; ie weather, Forbes; whatever the case; and that your Bluetooth has not lost connection, ( roughly 30’ from your phone ) & make sure your DND is not on, also sleep mode being on stops notifications, Hr zones, etc all notices also.
The only syncing issues I’ve noticed is; Readiness score doesn’t show up immediately after syncing in the mornings ( sync my Fitbit watch to My iPhone ) it usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes.

I’m syncing to my iPhone, still in 6 months free premium, and getting no Readiness Score or Stress Management.   Way back, when I was using my Charge 4 and Fitbit introduced sleep data and health metrics, there was a period of several months when I got them all every day.  Then suddenly, several of them stopped.  My understanding is that the ones I began missing and am still missing are all computed by algorithms that use data gathered from heartbeat monitoring while you sleep.  My guess is that Fitbit adjusted the algorithm to include additional heartbeat data that proved to be uncollectible from some users.  If this is the case, I’d love to see them admit it.  I can think of no other reason why these measurements are just not possible for some users regardless of how they wear their trackers.

Hi

I also have the same issue, but it is erratic.

Mostly breath rate doesn't come, but other 4 come. I have tried restarting, forced close, clear cache many times.

I sleep usually 5 to 6.5 hours, and all other parameters are coming, be it sleep, steps and more.

But the breath rate is not coming for the past 4 days

Is their any resolution Fitbit has for this?

I have been wearing a Charge for years . Lately I am experiencing the same issue but intermittently even on really good sleep nights. Some mornings I get a rating and others I don’t. If it says no data, no data will show for that day even after the SpO2 shows up.

issue as above;

When I look on the Fitbit app for my Heath metrics, it's saying "5 of 5 metrics available" (BR, SpO2, RHR, HRV, Skin temp variation).

Though, when I click on "Health metric" then "Heart rate variability" it says "No Data".

It hasn't been working for weeks. I've been using Fitbits for years. I've tried all the suggestions. Cleared cache on Fitbit and Google, restarted, tried 3rd notch, 4th notch on band. Worked fine on Charge 5 and months on Charge 6

I've tried all the "solutions" and nothing has resolved the issue. My app says 4 of 5 but only shows 3 of 5. No HRV or breathing rate. I have a Samsung S24 and have tried connecting or disconnecting the phone from the Fitbit app. Doesn't seem to make any difference.

I believe it's something in the app. Mine showed HRV for months then nothing

Wonder when Google will fix it, or if they will ever

I switched off the Start Sleep Now app and cancelled my premium subscription. Everything works a treat now 👍

I don't see anything that says "start sleep now". I see something that says "sleep mode" that keeps the face from repeatedly lighting up while your sleeping
