Not getting any SMS, WhatApp or emails on my Charge 6. I did on my charge 4 using the same phone Oppo Find X2 Lite
Also no option to enable notifications on the Fitbit app

Click on button with battery percentage in the top left corner on the main page of the Fitbit app. Then choose your device and then find Notifications option and set things accordingly there. Also, you might need to set the Fitbit app to auto start in the background.

Sometimes a restart of the phone or tracker is enough.
Try setting notifications up. You will be promoted to accept any needed permissions. I've see upgrades reset this.
