Pixel or Fitbit?

I have an inspire 2 and I’m frustrated by the awful syncing issues. I love that it’s both great for fitness, sleep, and health, and I’m intrigued by the charge 6’s slow wake and heart monitoring features.

I’m hesitant to get another Fitbit because, why would I use one if I can’t sync it? And know nothing about the pixels. Anyone have any thoughts on the comparisons?

Hello @vokinko1

It all depends on what you want out of your wearable and how much you're willing to spend.

I started with a Charge 5 and was very happy with it. It tracked the health metrics that I wanted and I liked the small size.

I switched to the Pixel Watch 2 after a year+ using the Charge 5 and am currently using the Pixel Watch 3. After using the Pixel Watches for over a year, I really like the Fitbit integration on the watches. It would be hard for me to go back to a Fitbit device. Pixel Watches offer a lot more flexibility and customization than Fitbit devices. The watch face that I use shows all the Fitbit stats that I want to see at a glance. Also, you can use 3rd party apps on the watches, which Fitbit devices no longer support.

Although the Pixel watches require charging on a daily basis, it's not a deal breaker for me. The Pixel Watch 3 battery lasts more than a day for me with normal usage.

Let us know if you have specific questions about the Charge 6 or Pixel Watches that we can answer for you to help you in your decision.

The choice is between health tracker or a smartwatch. I personally like the size, cost, features of the charge health tracker range. If your after extra features plus larger screen size a smartwatch maybe a better fit but at a higher price. Will you use all the extra functionality of a smart watch.? If that answer is no than a charge 6 health trackers.

Hi there everyone!

@vokinko1 A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

@RiekoC@robworkingout thank you so much for sharing with us your experiences you have with your Google Pixel 3 and Fitbit trackers. I am very happy to know about this, I personally have a Versa 4 and it really helps me track my gym activities.

I suggest comparing the devices here: Which smartwatch is right for you?

I went from the Inspire HR to the Charge 6 late last year (Black Friday sale made it worth it). I appreciate the upgrades (screen, rejuvenated battery, more comfortable form factor) but at the same time was definitely not looking for anything more than an improved version of my Fitbit. I never had sync issues with the Inspire HR but notifications were unreliable, and the Charge 6 improved on that too.

But obviously the Charge 6 is still not a smartwatch and not a replacement for one.
