When I engage the Google Maps app on my Charge 6 the time at the top shows 24 hour format. I have my Charge 6 set to 12 hour format. I assume this is a bug as I have not been able to find a way to change it.
Also Google the time at the top in all Charge 6 apps shows in gray. If you are in a very sunny area or you are wearing shades (as I do when workout outside - sun is tough over here) the digits are impossible to see and zooming as you are moving is a bit of a pain. Please make these numbers stand out like the rest of the info in the Charge 6 screen.
Best AnswerThat kind of sounds like you use Always-On Display feature. The AOD may sometimes change certain things to conserve power by utilizing less pixels (24hr format requires less screen to highlight than 12 hours (no pm/am).
Best AnswerNope. I upgraded from the Charge 5. I don't use Always On because it would drain the battery.
Thanks

Hi @JEGL - as mentioned by @Triletics Google has decided that some things only show in 24 hr format, AOD was one of these but it is understandable for navigation that the 24hr time system is used.

To me this makes no sense. I don't use 24hr format for anything in my life. I can appreciate some people may prefer but it should be optional. i find no value to have 24hr format if I'm walking to a location. If I have say an appointment, the appointment will be in my phone's calendar (and any related notifications which show on my Charge 6) in 12hr format. Looking at the Charge 6 and seeing the 24 time makes me cringe.
