So I updated my Charge 6 this morning (on Android) now the repeating alarms are showing grey with a cross and the only way I can have them on is to have a 1 time alarm any ideas?
I've restarted the watch uninstalled the app on my phone and check DND and sleep mode and neither are on.

Why was this update pushed to me? It's been known to have issues for over a month! I need these alarms for work. Understand you affect people's livelihoods when pushing bad firmware to the public!

I did a test this morning and even though the repeating alarm was grey when I went to bed it still went off this morning at the correct time.

@DavidFitbit - It's now been two weeks since you said this issue had been escalated to a higher-level department and two months since initial reports that Fitbit broke our devices. What is the expected timeline for Fitbit to correct their error and restore functionality?

This issue has claimed another victim (me.)
Expect I am using an Inspire 3 -- I have updated, saw the problem, done a factory reset and now cannot re-setup.

For Inspire 3, factory reseting did seem to reset the update. I had trouble with re-setting up my device, and had to manually "Forget" the bluetooth device in my Android phone.
I cant speek for your device.

Same issue here. I don't know if I was more infuriated or relieved to find this thread. This does explain why I somehow slept past my alarm every day this week...but I can't believe this has been a known issue for this long and isn't resolved yet.

Thank you for sharing this! I was having the same problem, and your comment helped me know how to fix it.

🙋🏼 I've also been sad about this issue since the firmware update - but on my Inspire 3! 😒

how is this still broken?
I rely on this functionality, and it's a major reason why I purchased another Fitbit - I've been using Fitbit for years and just bought this Charge 6 to replace my Charge 5.

Having the same issue here in Ireland.

Same, very disappointing this issue was reported a almost 2 months, firmware was still pushed to my devices and another month later this still hasnt been resolved. Its an alarm application, seems like a pretty basic piece of SW

Can we get an update on this please? I have two affected inspire 3s and a brand new Charge 6 that I see the red dot for the update wanting to install for a few weeks now, and I refuse to install it. I need to adjust notification settings on my Charge but I can't because I have to do the update first. This is very inconvenient.

Just adding another voice to this still being broken. Absolutely unbelievable that a dodgy firmware was pushed and hasn't been fixed. Having to set and reset alarms every day if you wake up at different times is insane. I have different wake up times depending on gym classes and work and have to set and reset everything daily because repeat alarms don't work.
When can we expect a fix?

Ugh yet another voice adding to this...I held off updating my charge 6 until it went from 100% to 0% battery in 1 hour the other day - I thought oh no not again (this is effectively my 4th replacement device due to the battery drain issue following updates on my previous fitbits).
Except I realized I never updated so I figured let's give that a try, if updating screwed up the battery on the others, what's the harm in updating at this point? well now the thing is holding a charge again but my alarm is having the same reported issue. And to find this thread posted TWO MONTHS AGO with no fix?
Yeah, no. I'm done. This is the last fitbit I will ever own.

The inspire 3 that I have that's effected by this, is still under warranty. Can I return it for a replacement? If so will the new one have the same broken features? Sure would be a lot easier to just have an update pushed to the device I already have...

It's been months now, and it's been a while since an update has been made. Is this issue getting resolved? Or is it on the back burner and forgotten about?

I've brought this to support twice now, linking this issue... we'll see if that helps anything? Shrug.
Also if Support suggests factory reset and resync device... Do it! it actually works!? You will list your day's activity but then the alarm will actually work going forward (it will still look broken but it actually works)
EDIT to add the good news

Hello,

As I mentioned in a previous post, the repeating alarm will still work as intended. Just test it out one morning. Set your repeating alarm and then set a separate individual one for like 5 minutes later to cover yourself.
While it is annoying that it doesn't look like it's going to work, after I tested it I haven't had any issues waking up with my alarm when I need to.

A lot of other stuff on the watch doesn't work like it used to which annoys me.
Give me either the option to downgrade or fix it.
