SPO2 Charge 6 Not Working

I’ve had my Charge 6 for three weeks. Love it. Everything is working great except I have no SPO2 data. I’m wearing it 24/7. Do I have a faulty unit?

To collect SpO2 data, install an SpO2 clock face or the SpO2 app.

Note: SpO2 tracking is automatically added on Google Pixel Watch and Google Pixel Watch 2. You don’t need to install a clock face or app. Update to the latest firmware if you don’t see the feature on your watch. For instructions on how to update, see support.google.com.

Fitbit SpO2 isn’t available in all regions. For more information on availability, see fitbit.com.

No app is available and I’ve tried every possible clock face. I have the
most current firmware on the device.

This is happening to me too. I changed from a Charge 4 to a Charge 6 a week ago and the Sp02 reading hasn't shown up at all since the change. It was absolutely fine before. I read that other people had to wait a few days but nothing as long as a week and mine is still missing.

It’s been over a month for me and still no SPO2. It isn’t a clock face
issue either. Hopefully they roll out an update to fix the issue soon. I
don’t want to go back to the Apple Watch.

I managed to sort this out. You do need to add the SpO2 as an app but it isn't obviously listed with the others you can choose from. It came up randomly.
Go to your device page in the app on your phone. Click on your device. Then go to Gallery and select Apps.
SPo2 wasn't in the list. I clicked on Notifications. Right at the bottom of that page, there was a section titled "More from developer". SpO2 was in the choice of 3 apps there. I installed it. It appeared as an app on my actual Fitbit and within 24 hours I was getting a daily figure again in the Health Metrics section of the Today part of my phone app.
I hope this works for you too.

Thank you for taking the time to respond! I checked and that app is not
available, it does give me app options like the scan, YouTube music, and
timers when I scroll down to “more from developer” but the SPO2 app doesn’t
appear anywhere 😞

Do you have an Android phone or an iPhone? Who is the creator of the app you mention?

I bought an Apple Watch because I couldn’t get the SPO2 to work. (I have
an Apple phone) It was also giving me inaccurate HR readings during
exercise.

Why is SPO2 data not available in some regions?

Hello @mmm80

Some of the features of Fitbit devices fall under the category of a medical device, even though they aren't used for diagnosis. This means that a region's regulatory agency needs to approve the use of those features.

I believe, SpO2 is one of those features.

This was approved in the U.S. which is where I am located. Regardless, I
switched to a more accurate Apple Watch

I have a new Charge 6 and this is disappointing I was hoping for live spot checks of the O2 while working out. Not an estimate after sleeping.

Other watch brands do it
