A new and irritating bug appeared the last day or so... I set my FitBit Charge 6 Screen Wake = MANUAL... it is all good and well for about 10minutes and then resets to Screen Wake = AUTO.
Tried all things, changed the Face to the default one, reset the FitBit, enabled/disabled sleep mode, and some other settings... each time, reset from Screen Wake Manual to Auto.
I realised, EACH time the Mobile APP syncs, the Screen Wake setting is reverted to "Auto".
FitBit App is latest, I also reset the phone - (not yet gone so far as to fix Google's mess and uninstall/reinstall the FitBit App)
Suggestions - other than to reinstall the app
Charge 6 (Firmware 220.31)
FitBit App (Android, v4.61.1)

I'm having exactly the same problem within exactly the same time frame. Hoping for a fix because it's very annoying and disturbing when trying to sleep.
I have a fully updated inspire 3, although it looks like this thread has been merged with a thread for the charge 3 now.
Same issue, different device.

Just replying to say, I'm having the exact same problem! I started noticing today. Only after reading this forum did I realize that it was after each sync that the Autowake turned back on. (Before that, I just thought I was going crazy!) Hope there's an update soon.

Jumping on the bandwagon. I just charged my Inspire 3 on Sunday. Now it's Tuesday and it's down to 66% battery life. There's no way the battery is going to last a week with it turning on constantly. It turns itself on in the middle of the night. It turns itself on when I pull up my pants. It turns itself on when I pick up my laptop. It's constantly 'waking' itself up. I had this set to not 'auto wake' for a reason. What's the point in leaving the setting if you're going to take away the feature? Preferably undo whatever mistake was made and put the feature back in. I'm obviously not the only one being irritated by this.

Glad this is being looked into as I've tried all the fixes . Whenever i sync my fitbit watch from the app , button to wake changes to "motion wake"

I'm having this exact same issue. If I set it back to "button only" it will reset itself two minutes later. None of my other settings will stay on my choice either. I tried tech support but they weren't much help, they said they were aware of the issue but had no solution. Mine started when the device restarted itself out of the blue yesterday morning. It's never done that before.

My inspire 3 has started doing this today - has there been a software update? I’ve put it in sleep mode until I can find a way to stop it

As many others have mentioned, I'm having the exact same issues since yesterday, and have tried the same things you have. Hoping they fix the problem soon!

I’ve been having the same issue! So annoying. I have an iPhone and I can’t figure out how to turn it off permanently.

No fix that I’ve come across, but customer service said they’re aware of it and working on a fix, hopefully it will be a quick one!

Hi all, a couple of things to check:
1. Which firmware version your watch has, in the Fitbit App, click battery/device icon and your Versa 4
2. Further down adjust Quick View and see if this helps resolve it.

I noticed yesterday that my Charge 6 is reverting the screen wake setting. I keep this setting on manual for battery life, and it is continuously reverting this back to auto. So far I have tried restarting the device on my wrist, restarting the device on the charger via the button on the cable, and erasing user data on the Charge 6 and resyncing it to my account. It still continues to change the setting back to auto..
Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions for other things I could try?

Just to add to the list - I've got the same problem, thought I was going crazy! VERY annoying at night, I've had it turned off since shortly after I bought it (a few years ago now) because it's so annoying!
