Setting up Charge 6 on a computer.

ANSWERED

New Charge 6.  Trying to set up on computer and Google Pixel 6a phone.  On computer it let me register under Fitbit but on my phone it keeps trying to make me register under Google - but won't accept my Google password.  I want them to sync to both.  Help please!

Hi @gabe97mom.  Absolutely!!!   The tablet must meet the same requirements as a phone.  It must support Android 11 or higher or iOS 16.4 or higher.  Also, you will need to setup a Google account for him, if he doesn't have one.  A Google account is required.

I had a Blackberry phone when I got my first Fitbit in 2013.  I had the Fitbit app on my iPad.  So I know this works.

Hi, @Olivemay it is no longer possible to use a computer to set up or sync your Fitbit, although once you have set up your device you can use your computer to view your account.  If you are looking at the Community Forums on your computer just click on “Dashboard” link on the top right hand of every page.

If you are new to Fitbit you will need to register using a gmail address.  I would recommend logging into your Gmail account and confirming (or if necessary changing) your password and then try the set up again on your phone.

Can I sync it to a tablet with Bluetooth?  I want to get one for my dad, who is tech-phobic so only has a flip phone.  He could take the tablet in to the doc with him.
