Why would you fix something that wasn’t broken? The new sleep data formatting is awful and impossible to read. Is this the way it’s going to be going forward? Because if so, I’ll be dumping my Fitbit and buying another company’s product. As it stands right now, it is useless to me. Thank you.

Yup. My blissful and wishful feeling only lasted for 2 good days with the old sleep format after I re-installed the Fitbit app. This morning when I sync the data with my fitbiit Charge 6 -- it is now back to the new sleep format again 😞 I have checked that it's of the same firmware number -202.94. I think it's due to the auto restart initiative feature of my Samsung S24 Ultra mobilephone's setting.

I've been a Fitbit user for over 7 years and will leave if the old sleep graph and tracking isn't re-instated-do they even listen to their customers?

I don’t like the new format, but even worse is the fact that when editing any of the sleep data, you will lose all the details and score. And it does not count restless time as sleep at that point so it pretty much ruins the data.

I absolutely cannot stand the latest sleep app update! It’s completely worthless! It’s not accurate, it’s difficult to read, I just hate it! Why in the world would they switch to this worthless new sleep app!?

I can't help wondering whether, now Google own Fitbit, they would rather we stop using our relatively inexpensive yet functional Fitbits, and buy into their much more expensive (and short-lived between charges) Pixels.
Just a thought ...

Personally I prefer Google Fit's dark theme UI. It's more well-knit and uniform in pleasant colours than Fitbit's loosely designed and mostly dull green icons in white background UI. For years, Fitbit can't offer dark mode for users.
I use Huawei Health too. The UI is an eye-candy, compact, intuitive and packs with useful metrics at a glance. The daily workouts: HIIT, yoga, tai chi, fat burn programs are free to users. Needless to say, I'm using dark mode for this app -- san the Google Wallet convenient.

the sleep analysis is nearly useless now. It misreads my sleep time and any edit to correct it removes any detail. I will not buy another fitbit if this not fixed. It was really great before! Why change it?

I will take a look at this b/c Fitbit has not listened to its users and continues with its new sh&t graphics.

Definitely. The sleep format went from good to horrible. Information is less. Worthiness is less. It seems to be a plan to herd people into going premium.

Not that fitbit has ever seemed to care whether their customers are happy or not once they've got our money, but just adding my voice to the list of people unhappy with this new sleep data format.

Update: I did it- I canceled my premium over the summer. Happy I did- haven't missed a thing.

I don't care much about the app if I can extract my own data, do my own analyses, and make my own visualisations.
However, since data export came into the hands of Google's Takeout, the export file takes long to generate and does not have the information that should be included. I've been trying to reach out to Fitbit to solve this, but haven't gotten any further than some helpdesk bots on Twitter/X. I keep trying though, as I need my data for sleep therapy.

Not only sleep data has been compromised since Google took control.
