As with many of you my sleep tracking went haywire at the end of June. However, for the past week it appears to be working normally - or as it did before the end of June change.
Has anyone else noticed a significant improvement in the accuracy?

@RobertMW I wear a Sense 2 and my records are still full of errors. My sleep start time is anywhere from 15-25 minutes off. In addition, this new algorithm shows rapid back and forth changes between two stages. Normal sleep does not do this.

Hello @RobertMW
I use a Pixel Watch. As of last Sunday (07 Sep 2025), I noticed that my sleep duration seems to be more in line of what I used to get before the algorithm change. Although I was pretty much going to bed & waking up at the same times, I changed my sleep goal from 7 hours to 6 hours due to all the additional awake time from the updated sleep algorithm. Now, I'm back to seeing at least 7 hours of sleep for most of my nights.
At this point, I'm cautiously optimistic that a change was made to the sleep tracking algorithm so that it no longer combines Restlessness & Awake periods as Awake.
We'll have to see how it goes from here.

I may have spoken too soon... the last 2 nights it has gone back to showing me "awake" for hours after my wife and I go to bed. She stays up and watches TV and says I am "out". Then the next morning Charge 6 says I was "awake".
I was so hopeful but this makes me wonder if anything was fixed.
