Quick tip to fix - I bought my Charge6 1 week ago and experience black screen suddenly today even though it is fully charged. I chance upon a prompt that I need to upgrade the system. After upgrading, my blank screen is fixed. Above tips for those new user experiencing the same problem. Cheers!

Hello
I ran into the same problem yesterday of a blank screen, everything is working inside as I can see changes on the app. I also noticed that there was a prompt for and update, so put the Charge 6 on charge and started the update, it said this could take upto 25 minutes and the fitbit diamond logo appeared on the screen. Then it lost connection even though the Charge 6 ad my phone were very close to each other, restarted the the update, this time it told me it would take upto 40 minutes to update, about a minute later it told me that the update was complete. But my screen is still black, according to the app on my phone the Firmware Version is 66.20001.202.94.
Can you please confirm this is the latest version?
Can you suggest anything else that I can do to sort the problem?
I have had my Charge 6 since the general release in September, and I haven't had any other problems with it until yesterday, I am also in the UK incase that makes a difference,

Thank you for your reply. I tried restarting it last night but that didn't make any difference.
This morning I tried synching my phone and the Fibit logo showed with a progresive blue line under it. Still didn't have anything on the screen, just tried a firm push and slide, then the screen came back, now responding with the normal pressure and tapping the screen.
Confuse.com 🙂
