reset password email link not being sent

my charge 6 will no longer pair to my mobile nor sync. I have forgotten my log in password and requested a (large) number of reset password links to be sent and have not received any. I have removed the fitbit app from phone and tried to readd but need my password.  I have also restarted my charge 6 x3 times. I need to reset my password so that I can try to resolve this issue. Please help.

Hi @Keegz72   The Charge 6 requires a Google account.  Are you tapping on the 'Sign in with Google' option on the sign in page?

I've reset my google account / password but I need to log into my fitbit app in order to set up my device and pair it again and it wants my FITBIT password, it's not sufficient to simply log in with google. REALLY annoying!

@Keegz72   Can you please clarify something for me?  Are you getting a request for a Fitbit password when you tap on Sign in with Google?  When I tap on Sign in with Google, I get a dialog box with the Google logo and I see my Google credentials.
