Add Desjardins to Fitbit Pay (Canada)

It would be nice to add Desjardins to the list of banks for those of us in Québec, Canada.

Adding Desjarsins would mean a lot if your commited to effor products in both official language since its the most used bank by french speaking canadian

Please bring in a bank that supports Cirrus, Maestro, Acculink or Interac to use a debit card. Also for Credit Cards the Desjardins, Capitol One, RBC USA. There are only 3 for Canada and 2 I never heard of. This is why I purchased my Charge 3 and am really disappointed that I am unable to use the fitbit pay.

@kimwlas Thanks for your suggestion.

I agree it would be very useful adding more banks to Fitbit Pay. We ask users to make sure they post only one idea per suggestion, so we can keep the board organized, easily searchable and see which idea other members are voting for.

Please be so kind to create suggestions for each one of the banks you would like to get added to the current list. Thanks for your comprehension and thanks for participating in Feature Suggestions!

I don't want to get yet another bank account just to use FitBit Pay. If it's not possible, then I'll go to a competitor that does.

That would be for Canada.

I'd love to use Fitbit pay with my credit card/debit card. There are not enough banks in Canada that work with Fitbit pay.

Please do something

Someone asked to add Desjardins on Fitbit pay in july ‘18 and it’s still not available.

Is it possible to Know if you’re working on it and/or when it Will be available?

Cause now, it’s very disapointing...

Thanks.

Hi @Gleblanc! Great suggestion. I've moved it into a similar request where people is asking this option for Fitbit Pay. I hope we receive updates soon.

All I see for the last year is moderator that ask people to post suggestions. However no work is done about it. Can Fitbit give us updates about this ?
Thanks ! 🙂

There are like 7 millions users for the bank Desjardins, please support for it. I bought the special edition just for the Fitbit pay feature and I can't use it. I may not purchase a Fitbit product again.

Yes! I bought the Charge 3 special edition especially for this and the most common bank in Quebec is not even supported. I feel like I'm losing on a feature I was promised

Hey so I just bought the Versa 2, it came out 3 days ago and I was quite disappointed to find that it doesn't support Desjardins still. I have a Desjardins Credit and Debit card and I was extremely stoked for Fitbit pay, any chance we can expect it soon? Like by the end of 2019? Apple pay and Google Pay both support Desjardins so I don't get why the same can't be said for Fitbit

Any news on the progress of Desjardins being added to fitbit pay ? Got my versa 2 for Christmas and can’t wait to be able to use the feature, but won’t be able to until Desjardins is added.

Très déçu aussi quand j'ai vue que très peu de banque au canada fonctionne pour le fitbit pay. Desjardins serait très apprécié par beaucoup d'utilisateurs.

Well not have pay support for my banks AND no way to download Spotify offline is a deal breaker... Any serious tech company should know that for its fitness watch.. And not to forget the GPS at this price point.

Would love to have Caisse Populaires Desjardins added to fitbit pay for people from Quebec, Canada!

We have nothing working with fitbit pay and that was a big part of why a bought the Charge 4 because it was a huge plus with all the other app for the health to be able to go around and pay with my watch.

I wish i knew there was this issue for 3 years now. We've been asking for it for years now.

I just spent 230$ for the fitbit charger 4 because I absolutely wanted the nfc feature. But It still doesn't work for Desjardins.

Total money loss for me personnally.

Since this was asked in 2018 i'm gonna guess that we will never get that feature update.

Guess fitbit is lying when they say that the community is Important for them.

I guess you are totaly right! 299$ for this nfc feature also and this is a
real deception!
I wrote to them this week also and they told me that I have to call my bank
and ask Desjardins myself to get as partnership with fitbit!

So now looks like we have to do their job! 🤦‍:female_sign:
