Customize hourly activity for different time ranges

I work rotating shifts on a fairly regular schedule and would like the have the ability to have the hourly tracker track different hours for different date ranges. For example I work 4 weeks one shift and 4 weeks the other shift with a rotating weekend, and while I can go in and change it every time, it would be so much easier to be able to just set date ranges so I do not forget to change what days are tracked.

I also work shift work 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. I love the Reminders to Move feature but wish I could set it for 12 hours spanning overnight. Currently I set it for 6pm-12:00am then rest it for 12am-6am. It would be great if the 5-14 consecutive hours could span from one day into the next .  Thank you.

Hey @Wyokmk you might be interested in this other suggestion: Allow night shift reminders to move (or customized hours). Thanks for sharing.

Add an option to change active hours to accommodate third shifters. Fitbit, currently, will only support day active hours.

Fitbit walk reminder is good day walkers, but we need a reminder for graveyard mode.  Thanks

Hi 🙂 I think the hourly activity function could work better if the hours depended on what time you woke up and went to sleep. Because of school, I wake up at different times on different days and it’s less motivating to me when I see hours that haven’t been filled just because I was asleep.

The main issue I see with this, the tracker is generally not able to distinguish between lying completely still and sleeping.

So just adjust the active hours / weekdays in the settings?

It would be nice if we could choose the days, hours, and number of steps. For example I may want it the same from Monday-Friday while at work, but want a different schedule for the weekends.

I completely agree and would love to have the ability to customize my required active hours for each day. Even when I do manually change it for the day, I've noticed it goes back and changes all my past days to the same hours which messes up the hours I was active in the past days.

Also, it would be helpful to set nonconsecutive hours for those that have to travel for work. If I have to be in my car for an hour or more, I lose that time for my active hours.

There should be an option to just have "x" hours fulfilled per day.  So if I want 10 hours of 250 steps "activity", have the app capture the hours completed and remaining.  And... If opt for reminders each hour, have it set as reminders each hour until the 10 hours are fulfilled.  But stop having the watch vibrate during a phone call as the step reminder is the same and I never ever notice the reminder if I'm on the phone!!!!

Great idea ! I work just 3 days a week and I'm not able to get in my 250 every hour. I have to wait until I get home but the other 4 days I get them in late morning to late afternoon.  It would be great to be able to customize my hourly activity days and times.
