Add messaging to friends or I'm ditching

The lack of communication with friends is nearly forcing me to go back to apple - and I hate apple. Please add Google chat capabilities. My kids hate that all their friends can chat, but Fitbit ace is causing them to get left out.

Please submit this feature request using the Feedback option in the Ace LTE app:

• Tap on your picture in the upper right of the app
• Tap on Feedback in the menu that opens
• Complete the prompt and submit

Although it's likely that you won't receive a reply, the team receives & reviews the feedback reports.

You can also submit this feature request in the Product Feedback forum (<-- click link). I understand that the developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested for potential future implementation.

I saw that there's a feature request to add chat function on the Ace LTE, but that's between Ace "friends".

I am right with you. I bought this for my son and it's ridiculous that he cannot text with his brother. I'm probably just going to cancel the subscription and give him an old Apple Watch that I have, at least it's functional. I can understand the need for safety here but if I approve and setup the contact, it should accept it.

The ability to call & text siblings was added late last year. This help page has the steps to add a sibling (<-- click link).

Please let us know if you need more help on setting up your son's contacts.
