Hello
Fitbit thinks i am a EU citizen and has disabled my ability to install third-party apps and clocks from the Fitbit Gallery. I have already changed the country setting in my app and fitbit account but i still dont have access to the apps.
How do i change my region to re-enable that functionality?

Hi @kiriup. I believe Fitbit uses your phone's IP address to establish your location. I'm not positive, but using a VPN might mask you location. I don't have specifics. I'm in the US and this doesn't affect me.
Where are you located? UK users are saying this affects them when it shouldn't. I also moved your post to the App Gallery forum, a better fit for this issue.

Hi @kiriup - the IP address used by your phone (cellular or WiFi) determines where you are, so changing region won't help.
The only way is to use a VPN from a non EEA or UK country.
You can use What's my IP address to check where you are.
