Fitbit 2 not for swimmers

i had the original Fitbit Versa and the versa 2 drops several important features.  I can't understand how they did such a dumb thing, one upgrades and loses features.  I'm on the brink on returning this for another companies product.

The main issues of features dropped in the Versa 2

1.  It doesn't show your lap count during the swim.  I swim a mile a day and this features was especially useful when doint 66 laps at a time.

2.  The summary on the watch tells you nothing just total time and tells you to check your watch.  Really useful suggestion since no one swims with a watch in their pocket.

FITBIT WAKE UP AND FIX THIS, YOU HAD IT RIGHT PREVIOUSLY..  FOR NOW NO SWIMMER SHOULD CHOOSE THIS WATCH.

Hello @Swimmerjeff Unfortunately the metrics you need are available only on the phone following sync of your activity.

This appears to be a situation that can't be fixed with a software update since the Versa 2, differently from Versa and Ionic) does not have a 3 axis gyroscope sensor. Please note that also Versa Lite suffers the same issue because the same sensor lacking.
