Fitbit not giving FitOn activation code

Hello, I have recently recieved a Fitbit Versa 2. I am trying to link the FitOn app with my fitbit but the device is not giving a 6 digit activation code ( its supposed to so I can enter it on the app and link the two).

I have tried uninstalling the FitOn app and reinstalling but the fitbit still isnt giving an activation code.

Does anyone know a solution for this?
