Multiple Fitbit trackers linked to fitbit

I don’t understand why I can’t have 2 Fitbit trackers linked to my account…

I would like to have 1 to track my sleep and 1 to track my workouts, is this crazy? As things are I am forced to use the same sweaty fitness tracker for workouts and sleep when I can very well have two separate trackers linked to same account.

Hi @Waltercvd you can't have two devices that use "Gallery" at the same time on a Fitbit account. If you want to change devices you need to go through the process on the app of replacing one device with the other, syncing first before changing so you do not lose data.

This is, hands-down, my biggest complaint with Fitbit.  I completely understand the confusion two devices using one Gallery account could create, but users should have the option to choose which device is connected to the Gallery based on their needs.  I have a Versa 4 that I love, but it's big and bulky for sleeping and even with DND activated, will occasionally come on at night, lighting up the room.  I'd love a smaller, slimmer device that is less obnoxious that tracks sleep just as well as my V4.  But apparently all devices now require the Gallery.  Currently, I have an old Surge that I can use with my V4, and I use the Surge when I need to charge my V4.  Both are connected to my ONE account, and I can see both on the app simultaneously.  This requirement of using the Gallery for every connected device is limiting, and, for the first time in over 10 years, has me looking at alternatives to FB.
