I was super excited to see the new clockfaces and still am. However, I notices that, when I set non-default options for third party clockfaces, they never take effect.

Seeing this as well. Changing background colors, text colors... does nothing to the app on the watch after sync.
I wonder if this is associated with the failure of many apps to update. Can't get Weather or Fitboard to do anything (Weather worked fine before the firmware update).
Best Answer@SunsetRunner Huh, I hadn't even noticed they broke the weather app AGAIN - side note, after last time they broke it, they tried to trick me into upgrading my phone app to get the fix so they wouldn't have to admit there was an actual bug.
Maybe I'll just remove the weather app. Wonder how much battery it would save.
I had no issue with the app prior. Now it is right and truly dead.
Alas, you cannot remove the Weather app. There is no Uninstall option.
@SunsetRunner Yeah, I thought they might have given us a gift there, as you can uninstall other default apps, but I guess not so much. I guess we'll just have to wait for them to fix up some bugs.
I'm still happy about all the new clocks!
Best AnswerI had the same issue, tried a few things but then decided to do a factory reset. While not the most fun option, I can now adjust settings on the clock faces. I would suggest that on the watch if you have some extra time to set it back up. Doesnt take too long.
**ahem**... didn't want to do that, but was going to try it as a last resort. Will do so after work. Thanks for the info.
Best Answer@cwill0303 I'm sure that would work. Though it might be a temp fix, ala what happened when the weather app broke before. However, I kinda lean towards fitbit should maybe put some effort into making things that work without being factory reset every 16 seconds. thanks for the idea, though.
Best AnswerI understand that completely, the reset was my last resort. It sucks but usually with big updates things like this happen. I usually have time to waste so its not a big deal to me but i know a lot of people find it extremely frustrating. I doubt there is any way for Fitbit to fix it retroactively though.
