Hello.
I got my Ionic a few days ago and I have a bit of a problem with getting Strava app to work. I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this question or it should be posted in Windows phone app section.
This is my hardware:
Fitbit Ionic
Windows 10 mobile on Microsoft Lumia 950 XL
When I open settings of Strava app on my phone Fitbit app, I click on Authorize and then I'm asked to log in with my Strava loggin passwords. I do that I'm shown another window (picture 2) where I can click on authorize or cancel. I click on authorize and then I'm thrown back (picture 1) to Strava app settings and it says it's not authorized.
I can authorize Strava - Fitbit connection if I do it on my PC on a Fitbit dashboard there. Then Strava is authorized and data from my run activity was transfered to my Strava account.
But the app on my Ionic just say "no recent activity" as it still says on my phone app that Strava isn't authorized.
How can I make this app working?

I am with you pfit12!
This is driving me crazy Fitbit. It is like you are not reading or listening to what people are saying.
I am also having the same issue and I reiterate to you that I also have tried all of the troubleshooting still to no avail.
To be honest I have found since I changed from iPhone to android the app is slow and doesn't sync well.
Please sort this out !

I am having the same issue. Reset the Ionic, deleted the App on my iPhone X, still doesn’t work. In the Strava app, the Fitbit and Strava accounts appear as authorized; on the Fitbit App I’m experiencing the same issues as everybody else (“Account not authorized”). On my Ionic, the same message showed until a few minutes ago: suddenly all past activities are showing with no further notice.
This is really buggy. And with the exception of your message, @SantiR, the other Customer Support agent wasn’t very much helpful. I’m beginning to consider moving to another smartwatch platform after two years as a loyal user!

Thanks @YojanaFitbit. I tried authorizing again and it now works (!) on my watch despite the app settings page still saying not authorized.

I just received a replacement ionic today (my previous one mysteriously died with no warning) and inI running into the same problems. This is a freshly updated device straight from the factory, so there's something broken on Fitbit or Strava's end

Hey Fitbit,
I have tried contacting support (have an open case #) and level 1 just can't help, we end up in circles reading the same script over and over again. Whenever I try to authorize the connection for Strava, I get the attached page. I'm never asked to enter my login, I can either hit cancel or Open. Open just takes me back to the Fitbit app to repeat the insanity.
Can someone, anyone please help?

@Jhoop2002 use browser, Fitbit site, Strava site on your computer.

Mine is sort of syncing again with Strava, although within the fitbit ap on iphone its still says "Not Authorised"
When I check on my browser at fitbit.com it shows as linked(read and write), which was acheived through
Now when I exercise, after I check that the event is showing in the fitbit and strava app on my phone, it is visible on my Ionic in the Strava app.
The key here for me was to give up trying to get the handshake through the iphone app and do it via PC browser. YMMV.

I’ve just tested it and my pretend 2 min “run” was synced to Strava app on my phone so that’s good. But on the app it still says that Strava is not authorised. So I’m confused. The Strava app on my ionic is def not syncing which was the problem I was originally trying to deal with!

@Helenj72 well at least accounts are linked and any run that you will manually start on Versa (using Exercise app) will get synced to Strava. Regarding, Strava app for Versa, try uninstalling it and installing again, and then logging in/authorizing the app.

Hi, quick update. The app is definitely syncing and the data eventually appears in the app on my Fitbit ionic so that’s good. The settings for the Strava watch app still say I need to authorise which I’m confused about but will just ignore seeing as things seem to work now. Thanks for your support!
