The Moon app offered by Dai Nit gives the Phase of the moon for the current (GPS) location.
Today is April 2, 2018 and it shows the Phase is 16.9. I don't understand what that means.
The moon is actually waning gibbous with about 95% illumination.
Maybe Phase 16.9 is the Age (in days) of the moon? Today, the moon age is 17.

I’m the developer of the app. Thanks for using it,
As you mentioned, the moon phase is totally same as moon age in days.

I have given your same interpretation (age in days). The app is really beautiful in any case.

Hi Iron Lily,
The moon app is a new app. Go to your ALL APPS list and go to the bottom of the list and install it. You may need to have the computer version of the Fitbit app to download it from (instead of using your phone), or the update of the Fitbit OS (which came out last week) on your watch.
I assume you are using the Fitbit Ionic which has GPS. The moon app uses GPS to know your location.

Thanks for the answer. I'm not an astronomer, but I would have used Age instead of Phase, and I would have used Phase for Waning Crescent 3% which is what it is today, for example.
Again, thank you for a great app for my Ionic. I look at every day. Two weeks ago I knew when the full moon would rise and saw it come up. It was so big and orange, even eerie, in the southeastern sky.
I really like your Time graphs with the Now indicator. That was a great idea. And of course, with almost a new moon now, both the moon and sun graphs are almost the same.
So, what are you cooking up now? Have you thought about a Venus, Mars or even Saturn app?

Hello Dai-Nit, - sorry for the seemingly random question - but I have been told you're very helpful!
I am after a fitness tracker that has a moon phase app and on researching discovered your wonderful app. I wondered if i can be set at the home page or wallpaper on the watch? As fitbits are all new to me, do you know which version of watch your app is available on?
Many thanks

Hi RoKitFuel,
I'm not the developer of the Fitbit The Moon app created by Dai Nit.
No, you can't set the home page (aka clock face) or wallpaper to the moon.
I believe The Moon app would only work on the Fitbit Ionic because it uses your GPS location.
To use it, open the Fitbit app on your phone and then go to the apps section and install it. When you sync with your watch, it will install the watch part of the app on your Ionic.
