When the Timer app is set to Stopwatch mode the screen does not time out so the battery drains quickly. The Time app Countdown mode works fine. I tried rebooting the Versa and reinstalling the Timer app.
Does anyone else have this problem with the Timer App? Is there another timer app that works better?

you can turn off the screen manually, and even switch to the clockface.
i guess it’s functional to keep the screen on.
Best AnswerI think there's a battery draining bug. I was at 95% then the next morning I was at 25%. Usually my battery lasts 4-5 days
Got the exact same problem. Battery is usually awesome. Can go days without charging. However, I use the stopwatch for my sons soccer games. Most weeks the battery dies midway through the game even if it’s got a good charge.
There’s definitely a bug in the watch that accelerates battery draining in stopwatch mode.
cheers
Maybe it's just a versa thing?
I use the stopwatch/countdown when I'm BBQing....and I know that even if I only use it 10 minutes (and then turn it off), the watch is going to do a huge battery drain.....even after I'm no longer using the stopwatch. I basically reboot the fitbit eachtime after using the stopwatch.

Best AnswerHi Ace,
I don't think it's a screen thing, as mine does go dark when it's running. Also after I have stopped the timer and "close" the app...it still seems to drain the battery just because I used it for 2 minutes.
Maybe I should make a video to make it obvious to fitbit how bad this is.

You can try SimpleTimer app which may work better plus there is an option to keep the display on or not.
It also has Auto start and Repeat options plus the button does stop/start for greater accuracy.
