Versa not syncing with Pandora

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased a Fitibit Versa and tried to set it up yesterday. All was going well UNTIL I tried to sync my Pandora. I have a paid subscription and I restarted both the versa and my phone and unlinked and relinked, but it was syncing so SLOW. I have high speed internet, put it by the router charging and my phone. Even left my phone next to it from 1:20 pm to 5am this morning. At 120 am, 12 hours later it was at 71%. Checked at 5am when I woke up and nothing, just stopped and was showing at 21% again. I'm so upset. It is boxed up and going back today unless someone has any tip or knows of something i missed? I loved the feel of it on my wrist but only got it for the music feature. So so so bummed! I have a Samsung Galaxy 8. HELP PLEASE!

Welcome to the Community Forums @CurlJean! Thanks for already troubleshooting the issue you're having with Pandora on your Versa, nice way go to!

I'd like you to restart your tracker once again and please double check that you're following these steps to download the stations.

Also, I was wondering if you've gotten any error message when trying to sync Pandora with Versa?

Plug your watch into the charger. Stations download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now in the Fitbit app to add the stations to your watch.

If the issue persists, here is what I my sister did to get a Pandora station downloaded (she was about 2 feet away from the wireless router):

  • Restart Versa
  • Restart Phone
  • Plugin Versa to charge
  • Unlink Pandora account
  • Force Sync Now.png
  • Log out/in from Fitbit app
  • Relink Pandora Account
  • Tap on Media tile on Fitbit app
  • Tap on Manage Wi-Fi Networks to select your Wi-Fi network (if a network is listed as already connected, remove it and then re-add it and make sure it's the same Wi-Fi network that your phone is connected to)

  • Press X in the top right corner to exit
  • On Versa, go to and tap the Music app
  • Tap the Transfer Music button (once it's complete you'll hear/feel a buzz) the button will read Transfer Music (This will tell you for sure that your watch is connected to the same network as the phone/app)
  • Next, In the Fitbit app, tap on Media tile and tap on "Pandora (manage settings)" and select the radio station(s) you want to download
  • Perform a "Force Sync Now" job
  • Force Sync Now.png
  • On Versa, open up the Pandora app, you should see the message, Updating Stations... Download will continue in background if you leave app.

Let me know if the above steps work for you.
