Weather app does not show weather information

It shows the message "Sync the Fitbit mobile app to update". I do not know what to do more. I sync'ed the app of fitbit. I did it inside the fitbit>account>Apps>Weather>settings. None of them does not work. One weird thing is that I remember it has worked long time ago once but it does not happen again. Could you guide to help?

@Alex4154 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! I moved your post to the Fitbit App Gallery Board as there are more chances for you to receive an answer to your inquiry here.

Thanks for taking the time to share the situation you are experiencing with the Weather app not syncing. Thanks for sharing those details in order to sort this out.

Something that has helped iOS users with this is the following: General>Reset>Reset Location & Privacy on the iPhone, and then starts working and weather shows on my 'Location'.

Also, keep "all-day synced" turned on so the watch will pull the weather more often. Make sure you have "location services" enabled too.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

I just fixed this on my Versa after it stopped working following an update.

None of the other suggested fixes worked and all of the settings for syncing and location permissions were correct.

I switched the Clock Face I was using to one that displays weather info, then synced with the FitBit app.

Once that worked and I verified the weather App was working properly I switched back to the Clock Face I was originally using.

I just did what you recommended. It works now. Great

One question is if I can choose the location service when to use instead of always. I think this may save the battery time

Thanks for your recommendation. I have tried a couple of different clock faces but none of them has worked. Instead, I followed the other's instruction. Now it works.

Not sure if it will address your question but you could go to the permission settings for Location Services for the Fitbit app for your phone and switch it from "Always" to "Only when using App" and that may do what you want.
