Weather is incorrect on Versa Lite

Looking for some help! I have a Fitbit Versa Lite and my weather app shows Burchell Lake Ontario. I have never been there and cannot delete the city. I can only delete the city I added which is where I actually live. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? It’s annoying because I always have to swipe to get to my actual location to see my weather. Thanks!

Hi @sarawrigleyxo. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

 

Thanks for letting me know that the weather app is showing your incorrect location, as well for the steps tried to delete it. I understand your point of view and to help you with this matter, please make sure the following conditions are met:

 

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app.
  • All-day sync must be turned on in the Fitbit app.
  • The Fitbit app and the Weather App are updated to the latest version.
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

 

Once that is done, please give a try to these steps:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Advanced Settings.
  2. Under Time Zone, turn off the Set Automatically option and choose any other time zone.
  3. Then under Location, choose any other location.
  4. Tap on Today and swipe down to sync your Versa Lite.
  5. Then, go back to the Advanced Settings and select your correct time zone and location.
  6. Tap on Today and sync your watch one more time.
  7. Check the Weather App on your watch. Please note that it can take a few minutes to see the updated list of locations.
