Weekly Average Steps Anomaly

I'm using a Charge 5, have had a Fitbit for over fifteen years, but found this bug in the current Fitbit app....

If you scroll the Steps screen by month, at the bottom of the screen is a list of average step-count by week (7 days). For example, looking at the current month (November 2025) my average for week 27 Oct - 2 Nov (at the bottom of the list) is 6788. If I scroll back one month (October 2025), the same week (at the top of the list) is given as an average of 4275 steps. When I look at actual steps per day divided by 7, neither of these is correct.

I've checked with two friends, and they also have different figures. I've also checked previous months and the same anomaly applies.

Please could you explain what is going on. Thanks.
