What App Can I Download for GPS Golf on Ionic?

Can someone please tell me what app I download for golf gps on ionic, if you have photo of app that would be great thanks

Hi @JuanJoFitbit Thanks for the response. Can you give more details about the differences between the two apps? I'm still trying to decide whether the Versa would work well as a golf aid (as long as I have my phone with me).

Hello @mybeckpages As explained by @JuanJoFitbit only Golf GPS can work with Versa since Game Golf GPS is available for Ionic only.

i have only ever managed to download 2 course on Game Golf. It never seems to work, downloads for ever and doesn't show a status. Try syncing it millions of times but nothing. Tried on my WiFi and data, nothing. Tried resetting watch and app, still nothing. How do I get it to work???

Regarding the issue that you are experiencing with the Golf app, please try the troubleshooting steps that shared @MarreFitbit in this post. You can skip the app re-installation step since you already tried it before contacting our forums.

I downloaded the Golf GPS app & it says No GPS Signal. I thought it was built into the ionic. How do I turn it on? It is synched with my phone.

Tried the Game Golf app & it shows my course but when I click on Start Round nothing happens.

I'm very frustrated with how hard this is to use!

My fault, I downloaded both:

- GAME Golf GPS Rangefinder

- Golf GPS

However, I have a Charge 2. When I searched questions it bought me here and didn’t even notice this was thread about different model.

I tried the 2 golf apps and was quite disappointed. I am surprised that Fitbit does not have its own app. Most people do not consider golf a sport, but let me tell you, carrying a 35lb bag for 18 holes and walking for  4-5 hrs (12+16km) is a workout. Other smart watches have great golf apps ( you know which ones :), I returned my ionic to the store since this was deal breaker for me. When you figure it out, l will go and get another Ionic. It is a great product.

Golf GPS now works on my Ionic & is pretty easy to use. Make sure your battery is charged before you use it, the app takes a lot of battery power. Log out as soon as your are finished.
