What does the Heart Range display mean?

What does the range of heart rate on the Heart section of the Fitbit app stand for? For example, right now, at 8:49 p.m., when I'm not wearing my Fitbit, instead of showing my heart rate, it shows 49 to 121 bpm. What period of time does that range cover?

@DenaJoToo   That's your range for the current day, starting at midnight, when your Fitbit resets, until the current time.
