charge 4 - Spotify connect and control not compatible

Just bought de new charge 4 and wanted to connect Spotify with the Fitbit app Spotify - connect & control but it it says not compatible...

So why is it not compatible? It's supposed to be a function of the charge 4

It starts updating in background as soon as it is set up.

Another Charge 4 use who just got Spotify and other features in update yesterday, so it should be coming soon.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Likewise. Fully updated my brand new device, and the app was updated already... Seems odd to have advertised this as an out of the box feature when it is being slowly rolled out... It wouldn't have been an issue had they been transparent when marketing the device. I get a little skeptical when a company who has access to so much of our personal data isn't transparent over minor things.

Hi,

 

i received my new Charge 4 yesterday and everything is set up and working with the exception of Spotify. I’ve read a few posts now about it being rolled out but how do I know when this is available and what to do next to install the app on my Fitbit. I am a Spotify premium customer but I can’t link them currently.

OK, I am not sure what is going on with mt Fitbit Charge 4.  My app has the Spotify icon, however I cannot seem to connect it.  The install button does not "pop up". The message below states " To install this app, make sure the Fitbit app on your phone and your Fitbit device have the latest update".  Can someone tell me how to do that?  I just recieved the Charge 4 a few weeks ago.  I assume that my Fitbit  app on my phone is updated, however I do not know what else to do.   Thanks in advance!

I have done the above, waited 48 hours and still my fitbit4 won’t connect, just keeps saying needs an update when everything is up to date
