Purchased fitbit inspire2. Box says includes 1 year premium trial. Am getting email saying it will expire if I don’t renew subscription by July 30. Am hesitant to renew using credit card, once card is charged I’ll have no recourse.

@Teresagale Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

As you mentioned, when you purchased a Fitbit Inspire 2, it comes with 1 year Premium trial. May I know if you activated it when your tracker was set up?

Hope this helps.

Sometimes a transaction is declined because of insufficient funds. Check your account to make sure you have enough to complete the purchase.

Same problem here. Bought it yesterday, got it set up and ready to go, but I don't have the "free trial" option as shown in the video posted in another thread about this same subject 🤷

I appreciate the research made prior to posting. In order to provide you with the appropriate troubleshooting, let me know the option it's displaying for you. In the meantime, confirm you're following this procedure to activate it:

  1. Tap the Premium tab.
  2. Read the overview, and tap the button to get started.
  3. Choose a 1-year or monthly subscription to start after your trial, and follow the instructions to subscribe.

Hope this helps.

My issue is that I didn't purchase my Inspire 2 , it was a freebie from Excellus and just yesterday got a charge of $85.99, I have been on chat and phone 2x and tell me to go to google and cancel subscription there, problem is that one of the emails says I have a subscription the other doesn't and neither shows up on my google play store , since the charge is pending I wonder if that's why I don't see a subscription . I have spent hours trying to follow the steps and nothing shows up as having a subscription yet one of the agents told me I did have it. I am am my wits end and planning to contest the unauthorized charge.
