6-month Free Premium Trial

I purchased 2x Fitbit Sense Advanced Smartwatch with Tools for Heart Health, Stress Management & Skin Temperature Trends from Amazon with free 6-month trial and never got to access the premium functions for free.

I was not able to activate the premium functions in one of the devices as no options were given to me to follow through and in hindsight the process should have been easier. I felt I needed to jump many hoops to get nowhere. Followed advice given on the forums and it still didn't work.....so I made the mistake of signing up to the annual premium as this was the only option given to me! What a mistake!

I contacted Fitbit the day after saying I had to pay for an annual premium when the deal included a trial for 6-months. Fitbit confirmed that my trial premium was active and that the provider was Google. I cancelled the subscription before the 6-months trial ended but I'm still £79.99 short for something I did not want and barely used and I was told I would get it for free when I purchased it! Of course, 6-months later, no one wants to give me a refund for this subscription! Sought Amazon, Google and Fitbit and I keep going around in circles!

Just beware that when something is being sold as 'free trial' whether it's actually 'for free'!

I'm utterly unimpressed by the Fitbit device, the app and the overall service/experience. The irony of it all is that after paying for an annual premium, the actual devices did not last a year! One lasted just under 6-months and the other lasted 8 months. Both wouldn't charge or switch on and have now been returned to Amazon for a refund...at least at was a better outcome!

So my word of advice is: do not sign up for the annual premium or pay anything upfront....otherwise, you may need to jump a few hoops to get your money back if you're lucky!
