Activate 6-month premium trial for a new device after canceling 6-month trial for an old device

Hello there,

I have recently bought a Charge 6 after I gifted away my Charge 5.

The thing is, I still have 45 days on the premium trial for my Charge 5, but I would like to use the 6-month premium for my Charge 6. I canceled my existing subscription, but it says I am still premium for the next 45 days...

So, my question is, will I be able to use the 6-month trial after these 45 days (I read somewhere that I have 60 days after activating the device to do this) if I link the device to my existing account or to activate immediately the 6-month trial?

I am trying to avoid creating a new Google account for the new device because it feels dumb to create a new account just for this reason....
