Charge 5 stopped charging

After many years of being a Fitbit user i can now confidently say that fitbit is having major quality issue with all the Charge devices. Every device i owned had an issue. My latest issue is with Charge 5 which just suddenly after less than 2 years stopped charging. I get it charged to 99% but the moment i remove it from the charger it goes down to 1%. I tried all the tips from support but of course nothing helped. I am now cancelling my subscription and moving elsewhere. On top of everything, support from Fitbit are just AI bots that give you random answers on your problems. And to add on all of this, the "discount code" is not applicable to anyone residing outside of USA, which makes no sense as I bought the device online on Fitbit website. I feel really sad and disappointed and wanted to share with all of you my experience. They just don't care if you are premium user.

I have the same problem. Bought my Fitbit Charge 5 in October 2022. Over the last couple weeks the watch was acting funny, and a few days ago the battery suddenly stopped holding a charge. I'll fully charge it, and when I remove the charger, it goes down to 18% in less than 90 minutes. Fitbit offered me a 50% discount on the next Fitbit product I'll buy, but I'm not sure I'll bother. My Fitbit premium account goes to April and I can't figure out how to cancel it before then. I'm feeling ripped off by Fitbit.

What an irritation and Support was unable to solve the problems.
I have turned off, ie., set to ignore, ALL activities. Yet the Charge 6 (only a week old now) continues to report "walk detected" even when I am washing the dishes or watching TV. I have deleted the app and restarted (as instructed) and added/replaced the Charge 6 three times now and all settings are "ignore" and still the same result.
I have canceled the FREE 6-month Premium subscription, but there seems to be NO way to turn off any Premium features.
I don't think I can deal with continual intermittent vibrations on the watch for 6 months.
What do I know, I'm just the customer; with Google in charge, they know exactly what I need.
PS. re: the Charge 5 (as someone else mentioned) battery began to fail two months after the warranty.
