I got a free sleep report with my Charge 2 that showed the analytics in reference to averages or ideals. I decided to try the free trial of Premium. The sleep report I get is different and doesn't make sense to me. I don't understand how it's helpful. "Time asleep 40/50." What does that mean?
Is it just a change in layout/presentation? I understood the other version. Not this one.

@Coconutsyogi It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.
The 40/50 numbers that are showing on the Fitbit app are the Sleep Score. Your sleep score helps you understand your sleep each night so you can see trends in your sleep patterns. Studies show getting enough high-quality sleep can positively affect your energy, activity, mood, weight, and more. Learn more about it by checking this article What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?
Find below more information about the difference between free and Fitbit Premium sleep information:

Thank you. Yes, I understand all of that. Before I got Premium, my sleep report showed benchmarks. For example, let's say REM average was between15-20. The report would give me a shaded box that would actually show me where I cell in relation to that average. The Premium doesn't have that. It just has something like 50 and says I got a 40. I don't really know what that means without any reference. Unless I'm missing something or not understanding it, that info is useless to me. If it's giving me the same info, just in a different format, the new format is unclear.

@Coconutsyogi Thanks for getting back.
The benchmark will still show on your sleep graph, on the Deep and REM data. Tap on this and then you'll see a 30 day avg and the benchmark.
Each sleep graph will show the target and the number that you got depending on your night's sleep. For example, in 'Time Asleep' the target is 50 but you got 40. At the top of the sleep page, you'll see e.g. 80 but this will be the sum of the 3 sleep stages (Time Asleep, Deep and REM and Restoration)
More information about why you received this number on the stages can be found on each sleep stages tab and in these articles: What's sleep score in the Fitbit app? and What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
