Feedback about audio workouts

Out of curiosity I signed onto Fitbit Premium and downloaded the Coach app but the first running exercise seemed mostly an audio track with some occasional "motivational" voice prompts for walking faster, which I quit half way through to turn on music and just run.

What I'm looking for would be:

1) workouts tied to my heart rate and prompt/notify me when I pass a certain threshold so I could go faster or dial it back (depending on the run goal),

2) and/or interval notifications based on different workouts (for example speed running 1 min/ jog 1 min, or more interesting variations), or

3) variations of other run drills (speed variations, maybe some strength or stretching suggestions at key intervals, etc).

Ideally that would be tied to my current progress and fitness level and not feel like it's geared to someone who's never run before, and let my music play while it's going.

I did find the app Intervals Pro but haven't tried it yet, and it would at least prompt regular intervals for speed training.

Also don't get why the program has to be tied to a specific day-- my workouts are not always on the same days of the week every week, so it seems like the workout wouldn't be available if you decide one week to go mon/wed and another week tues/thurs. Any way around that?

thanks for any suggestions:)

@RunningAmy It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for taking the time to get in touch about this.

Your feedback about Outdoor Workouts on Fitbit Coach is appreciated, this helps us to continue improving this service. Currently these audio workouts will only give you a motivational prompt and you're unable to listen to your music while doing them.

I'd appreciate, if you could post your ideas in our Feature Suggestion board, those are reviewed by our team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans. Please post each idea individually, this to give users the chance to vote and comment on them.

Regarding your inquiry about Guided Program's workout, since it's a program that will help you getting started in a specific goal, that's why the workouts need to be done on the day that you choose when you set it.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions. Keep it up!
