Fitbit Premium Membership with Gift Card

Hello, 

I have purchased a Fitbit as a gift for my dad. It comes with a free 6 month premium membership. I am going to purchase a digital gift premium membership to go with the Fitbit.  Amazon lets you send the membership to a specific email address as a gift so the purchase information will not be tied into my account. How would the recipient activate the gift card and still take advantage of the free trial?

@scaper33 I believe the recipient would use either the gift card first or the free trial. I don't believe you can activate both at the same time. So I would have your dad activate one of them first and then when the six months is up, use the other.

 

Word of caution though. He'll need to remember to cancel the six month free trial before it is up to avoid getting charged. He has to cancel it in the settings app on his phone, NOT in the Fitbit app.
