I too have had problems figuring out how to get a partial refund for a premium subscription. Similar to so many in so many complaint chains, fitbit refuses to help when the subscription is purchased through Google. Google won't give partial refunds and will send me to fitbit, who says they cannot help with their own fitbit product.
My versa 2 died 5 days after my annual subscription. Despite a long history with fitbit, I can't get to a human to appeal to. Instead I have 11.5 months of a subscription I can't use right now.
It would be proper customer service to assist, but I hold out very little.hope given the litany of complaints about this very issue. I've tried every link to all google and other links previous offer Ed when many customers complain about this ridiculous anti-customer policy, they all say it's up to fitbit to refund, while Fitbit says their premium subscription isn't their problem.
With this customer service, when I replace my fitness band, it won't be a fitbit. With just a tad of customer service, the plan would've been to buy another fitbit and restart my subscription.
