Last week the moderator LizzyFitbit said that Fitbit premium is available in The Netherlands (link: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Fitbit-Premium-Netherlands/idc-p/4121546#M236785 ). But I can't buy it, or select it in the app (Android 3.16)
So again, please make premium available in The Netherlands.

Thanks for sharing the feature suggestion link, as well for your efforts while trying to get a Premium subscription. Let me share that the Fitbit Premium can be acquired in our website for every member that is in Netherlands and other countries. I'm sorry that you're not able to get a Premium subscription and please know that this has been reported to our team for further investigation. Once I have more details, I'll update this thread.

Hi, I have a Fitbit Coach Premium account for years, and waiting for some time to have my account to be switched over to the new Fitbit Premium. Can’t wait!!
I am in the Netherlands, and I now read that Premium is already available in the Netherlands?
Is there something I need to do to have my account switch over to the new Premium? As I read that all Coach Premium accounts will get the new Premium account.

I managed to get the Premium option in the Netherlands, by switching my phone to English. Works as a charm 🙏 Added the 3-months trial and happy with it.
Only question that remains is how I can get my premium Coach switched to the new premium, as it was said that this would be the case.
Can anyone help me with this?

@Alana11 It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you subscribed to Premium switching your phone to English.
Fitbit Premium is available worldwide in English only. If you're in other country then you're eligible to redeem a 90-day free trial of the Fitbit Coach app which is available in English, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
Since you already subscribed to Premium, you should have access to Fitbit Coach because it's included in your subscription. Please confirm you have downloaded Coach and created an account for this app too, learn more about it by checking this article.

My question is the other way around. I have a Premium Fitbit Coach subscription already for years. I was told that as soon as the new Premium was available, my Fitbit Premium Coach subscription would be replaced with the new Premium subscription. I do not find a way how to get my Fitbit Coach subscription replaced by the new Premium. If I do not cancel my trial Premium subscription in time, I will end up with 2 subscriptions. Which is ridicules offcourse, as Fitbit Coach is already in the new Premium subscription.
So my question is; how to replace my Fitbit Premium Coach subscription with the new Premium subscription, as was promissed a while back.

Since you subscribed to the 90-day free trial, and you have a Coach subscription already. Please cancel your free trial by following the tips on this article. Once you've done this, leave your Fitbit app in English and you should have access to the Premium membership.

I will try so just before my free trial will end, as I am not completely confident it will work. When I put my phone to English, my Premium Coach subscription did not automatically switch to the new Premium. I had to sign up for the trial.
So I will cancel my free trial before the end of it, and see if it will switch to a permanent Premium acces.
I will update this post after August 15, when my trial ends, to let you (and maybe others) know if it worked. Thank you 🙏🤗

@SilviaFitbit, my free trial ended. I still have a Fitbit Coach Premium subscription. My phone is still in English, but I do not have The new Fitbit Premium account anymore 😞
So unfortunately, what Fit bit is stating: If you have a Fitbit Coach subscription, you will get automatically upgraded to the new Premium is not true...
Where can I go and ask for help to get my Fitbit Coach subscription set to the new Premium subsciption as promised? I really like the Premium version.

This is what is stated;
“Q: Will current Coach users be required to pay more for access to Premium?
A: No. Current Fitbit Coach subscribers will automatically get access to Fitbit Premium features as soon as Premium is available in their country or language. Their subscription price will remain the same as it is today, and for as long as they choose to keep their subscription active.”
But unfortunately, it is proven to me that this is not true. After the trial was over, I still had my Premium Coach subscription, still my phone and all my settings to English, but I did not get the new Premium subscription anymore 😢
As this was stated from the beginning, and for that I kept my premium Coach subscription to get this transition to the new Premium, I am disappointed that this seems to be an empty promise. Please tell me that I am wrong, and I hope that you can help me get my Premium Coach subscription transferred to the new Premium subscription. As promised by Fitbit.

At least till the end of this period of my Coach Premium subscription (till half of December), I have access to the new Premium again.

Yeay, now Premium is even in Dutch 🙂
Both on my iPad and iPhone, I have my premium access, and I could switched to Dutch now. The guiding programs are still in English, that is perfectly fine. But the dashboard and all the basic functions are in Dutch now.
Happy! I really like the Premium subscription and will most certainly prolong it in December!
