When I click on Premium tab it tells me Google Play not available. Is there another way to subscribe?

That's all well and good but that is a 3 month trial and I'm supposed to get 6 months.

It appears this issue still exists, and going through the website only gives a 3 month trial vs the 6 month going through the mobile app/Google Play. I've contacted support and went through the troubleshooting steps to no avail.

I wanna get my 6m-premium-subscription through Paypal and everything works perfectly fine up to the point where I have to verify my account: I enter the code from my 2FA app AND another one recieved through SMS, it tells me it worked and then I'm getting redirected to a missing URL.
To be honest, this is most likely more of an issue on Paypal's end, but I wanted to mention it.
I also tried to add my Paypal account to Google Play, which worked just fine even though it does NOT work for adding a payment option to get Premium, but unfortunately it's not available to choose when I now navigate to get Premium in the Fitbit app.

Well, for some reason it suddenly worked:
When I went to the Premium menu and clicked on the free trial it directed me to the purchase page from the Play Store and it automatically chose Paypal.
Most likely it suddenly worked because I set my Paypal account to be the standard payment option and also gave it some time.
When I tried it earlier it didn't work, but it seems to need some time to process the setup.
Long story short: If anyone ever runs into the issue that after verifying your identity to Paypal that you get redirected to a missing URL you might wanna try to set Paypal as your standard payment option and then give it a few hours. It might somewhat magically work after that.

I tried again this morning and still the same "unexpected error" occurred. My default payment method for Google Play/Wallet is my Amex. I called Amex and they say the issue is not on their end.
