Fitbit Premium overlap charge

Owned Fitbit Inspire with free Premium for one year. It stopped working so purchased and set up my new one yesterday (also with free Premium). Have just received an invoice for £9.99. How do I cancel my old subscription without impacting on the new one? Also, can I get a rebate on the payment already taken?

Fitbit customer support is doing their best, but right now be prepared for longer wait times. Please be patient. Support is limited by the number of representatives available at a given time and the hours of operation. Chat lines are open when they have live help.

Don't rely on Fitbit help to assist you. They told me that since I already had a premium membership, the free trial couldn't be used. When I asked, very politely, where I could look to see that it was "company policy," the no-customer service person hung up on me. I'm sending my Charge 5 back tomorrow.
